This game was smartly put together, and gameplay flowed nicely. The graphics were a bit plain, but not harsh or messy. The music and sound were average, but very repetitive.
I'd have to say that the biggest drawback to this game is the lack dynamic gameplay. There were only, what? 5 enemies? Little variation and no suprises. The, "work, train and rest" portion adds some complexity, but it seemed to be too large a part of the early gameplay, and by the time the character was ready to adventure, you had too little time.
The game also seemed lopsided towards a fighter, and not a magic user. I played through the game three times, and nothing changed my opinion of that.
I'm sure there is a strategy guide that explains how to make a perfect character, but that just highlights the lack of dynamics in the game. Nothing feels unique to the character, unless you want a crappy ending.

This game is a solid submission, and it amuses short-term, but it's lifespan is limited by it's forced patterns of gameplay.

Good art and decent humor, but the movie lacks a bit in the animation department. Time and practice of course will help. A solid entry.

Also, a note to folks like Mr-Woah, when you use phrases like, "This submission is nothing frontpage worthy", after just watching the movie via the frontpage, it is in fact "frontpage worthy", PERIOD. Saying otherwise makes you sound like a complete idiot.

Just trying to save you Newgrounds n00bs some face.

If these cartoon shorts were downloadable in MP4 format, I would be gleeful...no, estatic even! The music playing in the background during these 3 shorts was out of place and distracting. My only gripe.

"Not the average movie on Newgrounds"

This movie was a little oddball, with some kind of, "After School Special" message in it. Damned if I know what it was though. I started filtering that crap out when I was 8.
Overall an amusing movie that may not make you LOL, but it still entertains and keeps you hooked until the end. The usual HotDiggedyDemon style!

The storyline of your piece is interesting, the audio was top notch, and your animation is nice and fluid! The only thing that bugged me about this movie was that you used stick-man bodies for your characters, which when put against the background of the rest of your hard work, looks very out of place. Drop the stick-man bodies, and I think you'll have a much more, "completed" look about your animations!

"Funny Stuff"

An all around good movie, with great voice acting and clean sharp graphics.

The "moral" or "message" of the movie was subtle enough to avoid the sense of having it shoved down your throat.

Personally I believe illegal immigration is a big problem in America right now. Legal immigrants are great, as they must pass rigorous tests and a fairly thorough background check. They do what it takes to become an American citizen, and they deserve that citizenship.
Illegal immigrants however aren't always the, "sad-eyed, hard-working family" some wishing amenesty like to portray. We have drug dealers, criminals and entire families who are under-educated flooding our nation, weakening the economy and watering down our job market.
Like how someone prevoiusly stated, "This isn't paradise." We are a country like all others, and we have a balance to maintain. Economic responsibilities must be met, and they are met at the job level. If you aren't paying taxes and you are exporting your earnings to family outside the country, you are weakening America's dollar, and all other countries tied to it's economic success.
And for the, "They take the jobs we don't want to do" arguements, keep in mind, no-one wants to do them because an illegal immigrant will do it cheaper, and ipso facto causes the standard pay to be pushed down to insufficient levels to support a tax paying American.

Not really sure what you expect people to say about this, since it was just a short clip of a picture "build-up". If you slap on a story, even a short one, you'd probably receive more constructive criticism from folks on Newgrounds.

Don't expect much positive critique from this. I see potential, so here is hoping you apply yourself in future submissions.

Also, the dick joke at the end was totally out of place, but funny. Hehe... " Junk rocket." Never saw that punchline coming!
